An overview of my corporate philosophy and my goals for next year
over 4 years ago – Wed, Nov 06, 2019 at 11:01:10 PM

When I discuss other comic book creators, I see people arguing that the  second issue of a series should expect a drop off in support compared to  issue 1. This thinking is flat out wrong. Unlike your local comic book  store where an issue 3 or 4 might be off putting, in a crowd funding  campaign, the new customer can get all of the comic books in the series  as part of their reward.

In my crowdfunding efforts, I’ve seen the number of backers grow each  time, and I am far from alone in finding that result. Happy customers  will come back and new customers will come along. Based on this simple  premise, I set out the basis of growing my comic book business based on  nothing more than applying quality theory to customer expectations and  have endeavored to deliver:

- A well written book

- With excellent artwork

- Priced fairly

- Delivered on time

- With another project on the way

So far, each crowd fund I have done in the White Lily series has seen a  growth of backers anywhere from 26 to 59% with the average backer  contributing roughly $25. If we assume that these metrics will continue  into the future, than in only one years time, I will be crowd funding  books to raise more than enough money to pay for the artwork and  printing costs, which means my fanbase will be allowing me to bring high  quality books direct to the market at virtually no cost.

I’ve anticipated selling these books to local comic book stores, which  is where I price my books in crowd funding at what a customer would pay  in the local comic book store. That way, there will be no discrepancy  between the price you pay now and the price a future LCS customer will pay.

Let's work together to have a smooth fulfillment
over 4 years ago – Tue, Nov 05, 2019 at 10:08:39 PM

Hey everyone,

We've done it again. In less than 16 hours, this campaign will go down as another successful campaign. I want to thank everyone for backing me. I'm going to work hard to get this turned around ASAP, because I want to launch Guinevere and the Divinity Factory #2, as closely to the heels of this as I can. But, to do that, I NEED YOU.

Monitor Kickstarter over the next few days, because if your card doesn't charge, I will send you a message to prompt you to update it. I got a message from a backer of #3 a few weeks ago wondering where his rewards were, but he discovered his card had not charge for #3, which meant he lost out. Don't let that happen to you.

Secondly, if you have your name going on the Thank You page, I will be sending you a message asking what name you want. IF I DON'T HEAR A RESPONSE IN 1 WEEK, I WILL USE YOUR KICKSTATER USERNAME.

We will be using BackerKit to complete surveys for all physical fulfillment, so watch the Kickstarter updates on this project for when those launch and monitor your email and spam filter around that time.

You can get your books graded for an extra fee through Backer Kit, and I will do my best to get you a 9.8, I have 3 9.8s left over for White Lily #3, which will be available through BackerKit on a First Come / First Serve basis.

Pencils from issue 5, page 1
over 4 years ago – Tue, Oct 29, 2019 at 12:05:02 AM

As you can see from these pencils, we are no longer in the deadly winter of Stalingrad. Issue 5 takes place in the summertime in the areas in and around the city of Kursk. That city became witness to the largest air and armor battle the world as ever seen, and here are out two ladies reporting for duty.

And just like that, we hit our goal

Special thanks to my old friend Louis, who, it seems, will be making an apperance in every comic I make. You can see his visage here on the right in an upcoming page from Divinity Factory issue 2.

He will also be making an apperance at the Battle of Kursk, as he just backed that reward tier and put us over our $5000 goal.

Now to think up a stretch goal.
